BIAS works under Windows and is easy to use!
You need not to be able to play the instrument yourself and you don't need a musician to evaluate the quality of the instrument. BIAS does this for you. No knowledge about physics, mathematics, computer and music is necessary! A mouse-click on the icon and BIAS provides you with exact and reproducible results!
INTONATION Evaluation of one instrument or up to 8 different instruments. Graphic display of notes sounding or written. Fingerings: all or only standardized fingerings. Different weights for "piano", "mezzoforte", "fortissimo" and individual selectable weights are only some features of this powerful module.
IMPEDANCE "Acoustical fingerprint" of the instrument. Up to 8 curves can be loaded and displayed. (All valve combinations of one instrument or up to 8 different instruments). With the cursor you can determine all values of frequency and amplitude. Zoomfunction and scrolling available.
